RentalStack is an AI-powered listing optimisation and review management tool for property managers using Hostaway. It is operated by Darren Morgan ("we", "us", "our"), based in Australia. By creating an account or using RentalStack, you agree to these Terms of Service.
RentalStack is currently in beta. Features may change, and the service is provided as-is during this period (see Section 9).
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement to use RentalStack. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and Hostaway API credentials. Do not share your credentials with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We store your Hostaway API key encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). You may disconnect your Hostaway account at any time from Settings.
You agree not to:
Paid plans are billed monthly in Australian dollars (AUD) via Stripe. All plans include a 14-day free trial — no credit card is required to start your trial.
After the trial, your subscription auto-renews monthly until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
RentalStack uses AI (powered by Anthropic) to analyse your listings and generate suggested rewrites and review reply drafts. AI-generated suggestions are provided for your review and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific listing or market.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before publishing it to Hostaway or Airbnb. RentalStack is a tool to assist you — not a substitute for your own judgment.
Your listing content, review data, and Hostaway credentials remain yours. By using RentalStack, you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the service — including sending listing text to Anthropic's API for AI analysis. We do not claim ownership over your content and do not use it to train AI models.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, and protect your data.
The RentalStack platform, software, design, and benchmark data are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our written permission.
RentalStack is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated suggestions will improve your listing performance or booking rates.
As a beta service, features may be modified, suspended, or removed at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of RentalStack shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or bookings.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with reasonable notice where practicable. On termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
